I own the MT1 so my answer is yes.

I've had the MT2 SS for a few months now and beat it up all summer. Not one part even broke, only lost a few screws here and there.

This will be the second season that I've had my ss and its amazing good quaility engine is very strong. I'm going to convert mine to a basher this summer just to see how it fairs.
