Default Jato Breakdown

Is there a detailed guide out there on how to break down my jato for some heavy cleaning. I just got done running it and it has allot of foreign debris in it that my air compressor is not getting out.

About the best you will find are the exploded views that traxxas offers. go to www.traxxas.com them products and then the Jato page. you can down load from there.

Just take it apart, by first taking out all the screws to the top chassis and remove the top chassis. Of course take out the fuel tank. When you have those things taken out, you can pretty much clean everything off. Just remove the main stuff that would get in your way and jsut keep track of all of your screws. Just go at it. I was a little hesitiant the first time I took apart my jato to clean it, but now it is jsut a routine that I do once a week. I wouldnt wait every 10-15 driving sessions to clean it out especially if your driving off road. I like to keep my jato nice and new looking, look at my pics, the thing practically looks brand new. I get that thing dirty to. You feel more proud to own it to seeing how nice and clean it looks.
