ok well this is what i was thinking.. well i want to take off the easy start so it takes off all that additional weight and add a pull start..is this a good or bad idea?... 2nd of all i wanted to upgrade engine components but not change the engine caus the engine already has alot of power/torque.... any ideas that i could change there?

If you want to take off the roto-start to remove weight, then why would you bolt extra weight back on in the shape of a pull start?
Get a starter box, and you don't need either one.
I can't answer the engine question as I don't know what engine it is. I am assuming it's the 2.5. If it is, there are many more people who could give much better advice.
My answer to any questions regarding the 2.5 are...tune it with a hammer.(I might be a little biased about that particular engine...but that's a different talk show[sm=stupid.gif]
I would upgrade the parts that break frequently or would enhance performance...Depending what characteristic of performance you would like to enhance, that could be graphite for its rigidity and light weight, or Ti to make it an incestructable tank.(and it all depends on how deep your pockets are)
I am a cheapskate, so I would rather wear out or break a cheap part once in a while instead of springing for high buck parts.
Ti turnbuckles
CVDs
RPM arms and blocks
Bulkheads(maybe upgrade if needed)
NIMH reciever pack
Hi-speed MG steering servo
FM radio
Shock towers(again maybe upgrade if they break alot)
That's a basic list of what I would consider worthy upgrades.
I don't even own a rusty, so I don't know any specifics.
