sounds like a air leak in the line- ck for cuts or cracks in the lines. ive had one split right on the carb nipple and it wont prim its self. plug the opposite end and blow in the line. blow back in the tank and the pipe as well to make sure it isnt plugged. ck the tank for cracks as well on the seam is usually where it seperates...

I had the same problem! after i cleared the fuel lines out it worked. I blew any fuel stuck in the line out being careful to not get fuel in your mouth! after i got any extra fuel out i reattached the fuel line and its worked ever since! If that doesn't work then buy new fuel lines

Make sure your pressure line is all intact and it is snug on your pipe then try and take the fuel line off the carb and see if fuel comes out when you cover the exhuast. If you have any extra fuel line sitting around, then replace both lines. It is either a blockage or a leak.
