is it possible to take out all that excess body parts (like the front upper chassis the roll bar etc.) and replace em with ziptie just to make it lighter but still make it run the same?this is on the JATO

I'm not too sure since I don't have a jato, but it would seem like you would be able to as long as you don't take out any of the screws that hold the main chassis part together. This will make your car much weaker and prone to breaking by taking those {seemingly un-important} parts off.

To tell you the truth, I don't think you'll be able to tell much of a difference between with and without the parts on, so I see no point in taking them off.

when they build these and any r/c they put them through rigirous testing for months, so the parts are there for a REASON i wouldnt mess w/ it, if anything people add to their r/c to make them tougher..
