Return the needle settings to stock, check or change the glowplug, make sure the fuel is good.

take the glow plug out and put it in the glow starter (careful it gets really hot and make sure the glow starter is fully charged) if its good it should glow red and get very hot if it doesn't "light up" or if a section of it is not glowing its hooped

if it has GAS in it it is a problem....lol these need NITRO FUEL. not bashing just making sure you dont put gas in it. the glow plug ignighter can have a dead battery as well. stock settings are usually to rich so youll need to lean the top needle until it starts up and runs. "small incriments" only like a 1/16th of a turn at a time. read your owners manual and it will tell you a lot.

return it back to factory specs.... if you got the truck nib i wouldnt worry about compression problems just yet... is this a xxx-nt sport or xxx-nt2?

have you guys tried primming the fuel system??(hold your finger over the exhaust stinger(where the smoke comes out) and pull the pull starter a few times then take your finger off) and then put the ignighter on the glow plug

Mine was a little hard to start at times.Almost every time it was the glow plug/igniter.If you don't have a rechargable glow igniter, get one.Always get extra glow plugs at the store when you are there.I normally put finger on exhaust, watch the fuel line at carb, once I see fuel,I take finger off of exhaust, heat the glow plug, and pull start 4-5 times, fires right up.Once the engine is hot it usually fires up on one pull.If not I will set the idle(with the radio)up to about 10-12 and pull start.Usually works.Just my .02.

I can't get mine to start either but its the starter system thats failed. It has the battery powered starter that goes to where the pull starter would be and it just free wheels. I pulled it apart and everything is there but it just spins in the motor w/o turning the motor over.

I've had this truck 3 weeks and its been nothing but trouble. I've driven it a total of 30 mins at most. and that was just tooling around in a parking lot breaking it in.
