for stock suspension i would imagne for height and distance i would increase the srping rate or turn down the threaded nut.

and possibally tall tires to act as a back up suspension

ive seen quite a few jatos with pro line moab tires. they look huge but they probably help soak up the bumps.

I got the moabs on mine and they are alright, but my jato ripped them off the rims twice and I used proline tire glue. They ballon up like crazy, if you get them I would suggest steel belting them with duct tape.

The last time it happened I glued them back on, then I let them dry over night then I went over the spots I missed, let that dry and then I just put a little bead where the rim and tire meet. They dont look pretty let me tell ya, but they've held up pretty good the last 2 times I've taken it out. Also I dont drive it on pavement anymore with the moabs, I broke the bank and got a set of speed hawgs for that, they break loose and then when they catch thats it, they come off. I had one go flying like 30ft from the truck. I almost died I was laughing so hard.

Also a bash worthy jato would have a set of RPM a-arms on it. I got the fronts, but I dont know if the rears are availible yet. Also some HD turnbuckles would be good and not the red traxxas ones, I ripped those apart the first day I got them. I am hoping lunsford comes out with some titanium ones for the jato. Somebody will come out with them its just a matter of when.

Also with the tire coming off problem, you HAVE to get either proline or team orion makes some CA specifically for tires. Thats the only stuff I found that works.
