Hey guys I was wondering which one would be a better pick. Please dont tell me any other cars because these are the cars in my budget and are at my local hobby shop.
I am debating on whether I should get the TA RC10GT or the XTM X-Cellerator (the one with no engine). The main thing I am looking for in each truck is which one is more durable and can hold a tune pretty easy. (I am an expirienced tuner though). I like both cars and if you say the XTM-Xcellerator I will probably buy the one without the engine and get a SH .12. I already have an MX3 so I would be putting that in right away.
Thanks,
-Chris

I have a rc10gt and four x cellerators. They are both very good trucks.
To tell the truth I like the x cellerator a little better. Like they said on the X cellerator fourm,
the only weak point is the rear hub. If you spend the money right away and install the alloy rear hubs you will have few problems.
Many of the losi parts fit on the xc.
If you live close to a hobby shop that you like you may be better off with the gt. One of the main reasons that I like the xc is that I can get parts Very quickly online. I have to drive over an hour to get to a shop. All shops have parts for the gt and from what I understand only shops on the west coast have parts for the xc. Still, the xc is a very good truck. I have had very few problems with the pro kit, the rtr has a crap radio. I have only broken front and rear hubs on the track, Bashing on the other hand, anything can happen.
Either truck is a good choice depending on what you want to do. Remember, these trucks need alot of attention. It is a good idea to stock up in suspention parts if you want to keep going.

I personally have an RC10gt that i have put a lot of money into and love it.
However, i have heard great things about the XTM truck, very bashworthy, but yet still raceable. I know many people on the Global forums have had success racing, incluing Racer9, who i do believe recently switched to a mugen, but still a great truck.
Xtm is also starting to be carried by more shops. My LHS in hayes va has all kinds of parts now, incluing the alloy hubs and other hop-ups.
The SH-12 should be a good engine for it if you plan to race, otherwise, just through a .18 cv-rx in there

I wont be racing and not hardcore bashing. Just little 1-3ft jumps. I live right next to a Hobby People and they have tons of XTM parts so that isnt a factor.
