Trying to decide on my next RC, I own the ezilla 10 electric, and want to make a step up. The jato is one of my choices but unless someone can prove that it is better than a gasser such as the firehammer or baja etc.., then I am getting gasser. I am looking for things like durability, ease of maintenence, motor durability, tuning, and such. Gassers have my interest right now because of their ease of use and the fact that they use unleaded and two stroke oil, such as you might mix for a chainsaw. Nitro is expensive, and they seem kind of a pain to tune and keep tuned. Someone sell me on a jato or other similar rtr that is wicked fast!

i've had my jato for three days...i ran it in yesterday morning then gave it a thorough throttling...its a sweet machine..insane acceleration, easy to handle in flight and quite rugged..only problem i had all day was a glow plug blowing..that was it!
if you get the jato, i recommend getting flat pack 6v cells for the centre of the jato's chassis as the battery box on the back gets a beating and i damaged mine this morning..the plastic stretched at the back causing a screw to slide inside the differencials..so i changed it out for the mud guard that comes with the jato and now its fine!
you can get a stack of upgrade parts for it on ebay too and real cheap!..i got loads of alloy parts coming!
