I am new to this stuff and I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix a pullstarter. The coil spring is partially sticking out and the cord is not attached.

They can be repaired(sorry i have no detail). If you go a throw $20 at a new one every time it craps out on you just go get a starter box for $60-$80
I saw a great detailed walk through in here once maybe do a search or hope they post it again.
