I'm getting an os 18 tz in my rc10gt and wanted to know if there is any upgrades or different parts I have to get for it to work.

Thats a lot ot motor for that truck. You planning on lauching that thing to the moon?

I put a 12tz in my rush, I swap it back and forth between the rush and rustler. I pretty much just slid right in. If I remember right, the 18 and 12 havethe same distance between mounting holes so you should be fine. What kind of shaft did you get? That would be the only thing you should have to worry about. 1.9 hp out of the 18tz, in a rc10 gt, sweet. Hope you ordered some tires too, my 12 eats them up.

it will slide right in, Id just be worried about the power on the tranny gears and the rear end. My 12 already tore up one tranny gear and a bevel gear set along with one spur. Its some insane power and the 18 will be harder on those parts. But should walk on 90% of those your going to bash with.

oooh yeah its one mean engine . soooo much low end. Here it is on my rusty. and its actually rated at 2.28HP lol.

Yeah I got one and sent it to TNT mods. My evader could acheive exit velocity and go to the moon.[>:]
