Slipper clutch question
The slipper clutch pads on my XXX-NT were worn out so I bought new ones. The slipper plates were quite worn out too, I sanded them with 200 grit sandpaper and finished with 1000 grit. They are now very smooth. However the plating that was on them is gone. Is this plating required for proper operation or are my plates still good?
