Now this is probably impossible, but I have heard rumours and want to put it to the test. I have a challenge for you all, I want to see if anyone here can set off a speed camera using your nitro trucks (might work with the gatso type), I am not sure it will work but it will be a great laugh if it does and if anyone can get it on video I am sure we will all be highly amused. I am taking my rush evo into the model shop tomorrow to get it fixed (think the engine might be screwed) and if all goes well then I know of a few 30mph zones that could do with being "tested". I'll let you all know how it goes tomorrow.

Im not sure what you mean by a "speed camera", but if your reffering to the devices on the street that display your current speed, then yes it would work as long as the sensor can "see" your vehicle.

I mean these http://speedcam.co.uk/ they take a photo of your car when you are speeding, which is then sent to the cops who give you an automatic £60GBP fine + 3 points on your license (after 12 points you get banned from driving, except for the first two years of passing your test which you get banned after 6 points). Speed cameras are &$%^&*^$£"$%^*&%$£"$^^%$£$%^^%£"$% (you get the point)

How are you going to get on a highway with your Evo?
"Oh, excuse me mister Chevy Im just trying to get the speed camera to take a picture of my truck flying by it."

Sounds like a good idea - would be pretty damn funny!
Just make sure you don't get yourself, your rear car, or your license plate within view of the camera!! That would really suck nuts [:'(]

I doubt red lght cameras will work since they work on pressure sensors in the road, the radar type cameras should work best. As for finding a camera, there is one near where I work in a 30mph zone with very little traffic... here in the UK speed scameras are literally everywhere. Seems to be more for making money than for our safety. http://speedcam.co.uk/gatso.htm

Well I promised an update, only I had to leave my truck at the hobby shop for repair, he said something about the gasket needing replacing when he first looked at it (between the exhaust and the engine) but I am convinced it is a little more serious than that, anyways I'll get back when I have my truck back.
