My advice would be to put all your carb settings back to stock, then try again. If you are losing compression after it warms up it could be any number of things. Could be it needs a new piston and sleeve. Is this a new truck or an old truck, and how long does it run? Do you know how hot it get's? If you don't have a temp gun, use the spit check. Spit right onto where the glo plug is and count how many seconds it takes to boil completely off, it should be within the 3 to 6 second range. If it boils away immediately, then it's running way too hot, or too lean, which will damage the engine. If you can give us more info it'll help us figure out what's going wrong.

it will start when its cold. but when im trying to adjust it dies and i cant start it again. and i dont know what the stock setting are. book says break in is 2 and then it should run from 1 1/4 to 1 3/8. but my local hobby shop dude said it should be around atleast 3 turns.
and i dont even know were the low speed needle should be.
if your not sitting home watching tv waiting for parts your not bashing hard enough.

So, this is a brand new truck? Here's one posibility, if it's new, you're running it really rich, which can cause the engine to die, especially if you give it too much throttle. If an enginge is hot, and you try to start it agian, it will sometimes have what is called vapor lock, which essentially will keep the engine from getting any fuel, until it cools down. Of course, that doesn't explain the lack of compression. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to take it to your LHS amd see if they know what's wrong, it's hard for me to give you any ideas without knowing all the specifics that you get looking at the motor. I would listen to the guy at your LHS though, and next time you start it, make sure your High speed needle is 3 turns out. Let me know how it goes.

The stock settings are HSN 2 turns out, LSN even with the brass housing and the idle screw keeps the car open 1.5mm.
I run my truck at around 1 1/2 HSN and the LSN even with the housing.
