Default diff problem

i have an rc10gt with the stock diff. so far i have had the car for 2 weeks and i broke the thrust bolt (the bolt you use to adjust the thightness or looseness of your diff) 2 times. i have broken it once when it came stock and then again when i replaced it. when i thightened the new bolt i bought i had i did as the manual says (thighten all the way, then loosen 1/8th of a turn), i never adjusted the thrust bolt that came with the car. Both times the thrust bolt broke at the right at the head of the bolt. has anyone else had this problem? what can i do to fix this problem, im pretty sure their is no upgraded thrust bolt.

wouldn't that just help it not come loose though or does the bolt break when it become loose?
