I got it working after the thread was started but it was winding back up fine just as it was idling it would pull the cord in tight and stall the engine for some reason?????

The cord just goes in when the engine stalls, it isn't what is causing the stall. Most people, including myself, have this problem when first getting their X-Cellerator. It is just too rich. The excess fuel is cooling the glow plug causing it to stall. Try turning the low speed needle clockwise about 1/4 a turn. That should make it so the engine will stay running. From there, just follow the break in procedure in the manual.

yea thats most likely what it is, because if the one-way bearing was on the wrong way he wont be able to start it. but what you whould do is when it starts rev it up no more then half throttle so it wont die
