it might... but tower says it will not:

ok,but it should go in a rc10gt.
See, i got it for a nitro sport,but am thinking of putting the pro15 back in it and getting another truck. I dont race,but run on a dirt track. The Jato looks cool,but i think i would be better off getting a rc10. I could get the FTRC10 for a lot less and put this motor in it....

That engine will not fit your Jato due to the rotary carb. You need one with a slide carb. And OS is making a 18 motor with a slide. Just look here.

i put the .18 CV-rx (s) in my nitrosport and it is CRAZY awsome and tons of power wheelies on demand, best part is that i got the NS at a yard sale for 8 buxs
