I have a nitro rustler and bought an O.S. .12 CVRX for it. Well right now im trying to grind down the stock engine mounts for it to fit but it is kinda hard to get it to line up. If i cant get them to work what motor mounts will work to make an easier fit? I need to know exactly what to buy because im not really sure. Thanks very much for any help!

yep been there before, BUT i checked dimensions before i bought it, get the backplate and a starter box.

ok nevermind, i got the engine put in today and everything back together. I havent cranked it yet cause it was raining. I pulled the starter to see if its ok and i found out that the flywheel is rubbing against the plastic piece above it. I dont know what it is, its right over the flywheel. My guess is that it is there to protect it? But is it ok to cut it out? Someone told me to just try to crank it and see if the flywheel will grind it away itself. Any suggestions on what to do?
