Default Engine Problems

I've got a Traxxas Nitro Sport, and yes yes i know, a bunch of you are gona come in here and say that traxxas isnt that great, well, dont worry, my next truck isnt going to be one. I can't drive my truck yet considering my rear shock tower is almost completly smashed off the the front one has a crack (I had a bad flip lol ). I've got Aluminum shock towers on the way. wont happen anymore [>:] THen ill just have to wait until my bulkheads break. lol

The stock Pro.15 used to work great. Now, it wont tune. at all. None, nadda zip. ZILCH!!! my friend and i took apart my engine and looked around inside there and did not find anything unusual. The low end is crap, the high end is crap, it will start, run like poop, 5 mins later, shut off during running for no apparent reason, not cause its too lean either, cause i richened it, didnt do anything..... I did manage however to get it to go a little bit, but....i could almost run as fast >:|

Someone Help me pleaseee!

Sounds like it is worn out. One sign of a worn engine is it won`t run when up to temp . Won`t start back up until has cooled down .

Yep, the old pro .15 is just worn out. It happens to all of them eventually.

When it's your first one man, they never last as long because you make the simple mistakes you haven't learned about yet. It's not a bad thing, it's just part of the learning process.

And 1.5 gallons for a first timer on a pro .15 is not THAT bad either. Those motors don't last long for anyone. If I were you, I would look into an OS .12 CVRX and you will find a whole new world out there lol. It will tune so easily and be so reliable all you will have to do it put gas in it and drive. You will get a lot more enjoyment out of the hobby with something like that in there.

You probably will not break the alloy shock towers but will more then likely pass the breakage to the next weakest point or bend the alloy towers.
Good Luck.
