Default XTM Xcellerator problem

i have a problem and cant find the answer. i just got and xcellerator and the first time i tryed it it wouldnt start. i took the fuel out and called it a day. before i put it away, i tryed to start the engine to remove extra fuel in the lines and the engine started. i put fuel back in the tank and it did not work. so i repeated the before of removing the fuel and starting the engine and it started but i was too tired to fuel it up and try again.

so a week later i tryed it again, it started fine, i let the glo plug sit on for a minute, took it off and the engine went dead. the i got the car to the point where i coul take the glo plug off and the car would either die a couple of secounds later or when i tryed to excellerate it would die. i decided to call it quits for the day and removed the fuel and started the car and left the glo plug on the car and it went, it worked.

why does it only work when the fuel tank is empty?

It seems as if your engine is running extremely rich and the reason why it runs when the fuel tank is empty because it start to lean it out when there is very little to no fuel in the tank itself. Try leaning out the HSN (high speed needle) and the LSN (low speed needle) about 1/8th of a turn. Turn them clockwise and keep doing this until it start to run without the glow plug heater on it. And the other reason why it dies when you stab the throttle is also that it rich and stabbing the throttle gives it more fuel and it simple cant run with that much fuel.

You got to remember that more is not always better. Just get back to us if this works or not and if it doesnt then we will go from there.
