Default best .12 racing engine for the nitro rustler

my nitro rustler trx2.5 is losing compresstion quickly after i just finished my forth gallon throuhgh it. i was just wondering what u guys think is the best .12 racing engine because i kno .15 engines arent roar aporved

Any RB motor. Or a .12TZ. Make sure it has a SG shaft and slide carb.
And guys don't start with the "a rustler can't race" crap, please.

STS engines are very fast. If you going to race competitively then they are a very good choice. Then an RB or an O.S cvr. The tz I think is to much and it's hard to get it to hook up on dry tracks.

But thats my opinion.

.12 CV-R. geared right it'll keep up with those high dollar modifieds on a tight track...and on a track with a loose surface...
