alright guys, so i used to have a roto start for my xtm xcell but my one way kept goin out so after about three of them i broke down and bought a starter box that "was specifically made for my car"....think those were the words from the guy at hobby people. my problem is that it doesnt seem like the starter box wheel is reaching my flywheel. the body of the car is just rippin the starter wheel apart. is the a hop up or different flywheel i need to get so that it will work?

It should work, if it's a 1/10 scale box. If the wheel is getting torn up, then you don't have it aligned right. Either the truck needs to be moved foward or backward.

I believe XTM Nitro X-cellerators comes with pullstart motors as stock, and because of that the engine mount is higher to fit the pull start assembly. You will need to get a non-pull start motor mount to lower the engine and the flywheel. Or if you have the right tools you can just cut your motor mounts to the height you needed.
It also helps to enlarge the hole on the chassis to fit large bump wheels of starter boxes.
