I have an evader. bought used and it didn't run. I got it running but it is shooting fuel out the exhaust. I used a full tank of fuel try to start it . it starts revs like crazy then dies. the manual doesn't tell you what the low speed screw should be set at. Can anyone help me?

I concur. Also, being that it's likely already broken in you could set the HSN somewher closer to 2 turns and go from there. 2 1/2 turns was really really rich on my setup when I got it new.

fuel spitting out the exhaust is caused by ur pressure line being to short/low. either make it longer and/or find a way to raise that above the fuel tank and it wont come out as much. the lsn should be flush with the housing, then 1/2 turn in. but most likely its revving due to the idle being set to high. take off ur air filter and make sure that opening when full brake is applied is a little bit open. like 3/32 of an inch is what ur shooting for. the hsn needle should be around 2 turns out. most people dont realize that the hsn is the needle that controls everything. if this is set wrong, it wont start. lsn is the second "control" in a carb while the hsn is the "primary fuel controller"
and try starting it with the wheels off the ground with partial throttle. should start right up then let off on the gas

I put on a longer fuel line. and adjusted the carb. It doesn't seem to spit out as much fuel
now it starts and revs like crazy it won't die i have to pinch the line to get it to shut off . the ide screw is only open maybe a 1/16 of an inch. what can cause it to rev like that with the carb. not open . thanks for your help
