Default Nova Rossi Engine Identification.

Can anyone tell me how to determine exactly what model of Nova Rossi engine I have? All I know is it is a Rex 12. I checked NR website and found that there are a number of different Rex 12s, however I was not able to find any other numbers on my engine to help identify it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Dave

yeh u have to see the crank shaft length, carbie type and material, plug type, pull start or not, then port number, then port size and after all of that match it up to its respective name on the site, or just use it.......

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately I don't have the box for it, and I know it is a year or two old. So I'm not even sure it is still a current model. I'm extremely happy with it and realize that someday down the road I'll have to do a rebuild, and I'm assuming ordering parts could be a real pain without knowing the exact model.

Well I guess the search is on.

it'd be cheaper to buy a new engine than rebuild it. i use my old novarossi engines as cool paperweights.
