Im new to nitro r/c and havent been into the hobby since the early 90's when i had a Bolink on-road racer. Nowadays im looking into Nitro trucks and Ive been doing lots of research and with my budget being quite low for now Ive narrowed down to:
NRusty w/ 2.5 racing (not 2.5R) or HPI RS4 MT2 w/ Nitrostar T-15
both RTR
will be mainly used for bashing...
any input on this is greatly appreciated!

i own the two and i like them, the rustler is alot of fun and easy to get parts for, should be able to do wheelies but its 2wheel drive, the hpi mt is 4x4 and handles better. Either one is a good choice.

There both great trucks for bashing. Personally if your just going to be bashing then the MT2 is prolly better as it has 4wd and will be able to go more places then the rusty will. But if your not going to have a lot of places like that then the rusty is a good truck. I personally dont like there engine's but thats just me and my personal opinion.

thnx for replies,
how would the mt2 compare with the speed of the rusty outta the box?
also im thinkin it might not matter since i hear the trx motors dont last so long and i would prolly get a os .18 of some sort down the road anyway.
