On my RC10gt when i run it on the road and it wheelies and the zip ties break/melt, It does it every time it wheelies or if i jump it on pavement. I am putting the zip tie on right. Is there any way of stopping this? what mods did you do?

Try heaver zip ties or thicker ones. Go to a good electric supply house, as there is a big difference between brands. All so you can get them MUCH cheaper at a place like that. I am not talking about Radio Shack!!!!
