Default Engine temp

Hi,I have a question for anybody that may be firmilure with the tower hobbies st-15. I just recently got a temp gun and after a good 10 minute run my truck ran out of gas so i went and checked the temp, which was around 330. I know that commonly this is high but did not know if this was maybe usual for this engine. It has always seemed to run fine except for a little bit of hesitation off the line and has always had a decent amount of blue smoke. Which needles should I richen, and possibly how much of a turn on them? Thanks for the help. Also the engine has good air flow, the body is almost all the way up there on the posts.

Richen the high speed needle, is enough air getting to the cooling head? It sounds like you your car is about to explode, I am not familiar with the ST-15 but I know that if your engine is running at 330 degrees than it is bad.

Try not to let it run dry of fuel this only causes it to be lean and raise engine temp.

Thanks for the help, I have richened both the needles, and will go from there. It doesnot seem to have damaged anything, and still has good compression.
