I bought a OS#8 plug for my standard Mammoth ST and it comes with a little brass washer. Do I need to use this or can I screw it straight in without?
Thanks in advance

Chill out mate.
I was just checking to make sure it wouldn't make the compression to low and reduce performance.

yeah you will need it to to reduce vibration between the under head and glow plug, and to stop you stripping your underhead

the main reason for it is to seal the chamber, so u dont get any leaks from the plug hole. Thats why the turbo designed engines dont have a washer cause the plug is tapered and is a very tight fit.
