I would get the Resonator pipe from traxxas. I have it and I think that its a very good pipe.

for the cost of a tuned pipe couldn't you just buy a 3.3?

no problem... Also you may want to go through the "official" jato thread... it has tons of good info.

I have a new Jato 3.3...... How does that Brake job work? Did you have to put in a stronger servo? does it make a big difference? My factory brakes are pretty sluggish

for the brake thing, take off the spring and replace with a piece of fuel line. take a papermate pen and cut it about a 1/16 shorter than the fuel line and install over the fuel line.(alittle spit helps). take a dont know what they call it, but its a like a collar with a lock screw. I found mine in the airplane section. put that on the brake rod behind the servo horn, so that when you hit the gas, it releases the brakes all the way see pictures. also I drilled out my stinger. retuned it, and has more top end. just drill it so that there is still astinger there.
also notice my missing clutch beaing. dont know when it happened. prolly 4 tanks ago. oh well

oh yeah, replace your servos with this servo. really good for the price, and alot stronger than a 2055. mines like a new different car.

I took a traxxas resenator pipe and drilled out the outlet with a 5/16 bit then in drilled the pressure tank return to fit the fuelline and presto more lowend without loss of top end. i had to retune engine. [sm=thumbup.gif]

I have a modded 2.5 in my Jato with the single chamber traxxas resonator and it screams. Easily hangs with a 3.3.

idk, you might find it hard to get a crab to stay on your car, but, I'd try a fiddler crab, since they got that buff arm.

didnt know crabs boost performance just stay with the regular carb. if the carb is too big then it will tend to run leaner and if too small then richer. there is nothing wrong with the current carb as far a i know

then we're all agreed, there is no need to duct tape any crabs to their jato.
