Default HPI RUSH

well i've got a few questions. First of all i have an HPI Nitro Rush with a o.s. 18 cv-r after market shocks and proline tires with associated wheels. My first question is what kind of tunes pipe would be best for the os 18? Who makes aftermarket aluminum/graphite parts? and is the hpi rush obsolete now because of the firestorm even with the 18 in it?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

The Rush was discontinued about 3 or 4 months before the Firestorm came out. If you do a search you will see there are a couple of old threads on it. As far as a pipe has a lot to do with what you are looking for and how much you are welling to spend. Make sure you buy a lot of extra parts particularly the weak middle gear in the transmission. Make sure you have the slipper clutch set properly at all times.
Good Luck and have fun.

When I had my rush, I used a c-vec pipe, adjustable inner chamber (not roar legal) and it was great. Asia tees dot com have tons of aluminum parts. You shouldnt have troubles finding rush parts, atleast for a year maybe two.
I still have a front and rear carbon fiber towers, sway bar set front and rear and other rush evo parts just sitting, was going to ebay them when I get the time.
The rush is a fair truck, pretty solid but dont expect to out run a xxxnt on the off road course, the rush works better on oval racing.
Check out the rush evo thread, more links to parts and after market goodies. Hope this helps.
