Chome wheels, rediculously huge 1/8 scale buggy wing, a TRX 2.5 or a 3.3 if you have enough balls (can't win without it), ALUMINUM A-ARMS (adds atleast .5 hp), don't forget the super charger from RB inovations (SICK MOD!!1!!!1!one!!), and a multi colored antinna tube.

faster engine, i would not get any allu if you bash, not the arm's anyway!!, think about when you hit a rock, plastic flex's.. more than you prob no!, allu does not, so it snaps or breaks the part its connected to!!..
carbon is lighter, 18ss and stronger servo's, quicker response!...i go with a rear toe-in of "2 and bring the front out "1
lighter flywheel and allu clutch spring also help alot!!...

Yea, you need the lightest wheels possible, 30% fuel will help (but will decline engine life), lightest driveshafts (traxxas made some new steel ones, a very good deal, and these may actually have a heavier weight, BUT the rotating mass is less becuase they are thinner), and a lighter flywheel, just try to get parts that have a lighter rotating mass, gears, wheels etc. Also check out www.jdcarbon.com for some cool carbon fiber, light and really strong

he thought rusy was rusty, not rush. actually if you use a dril and a file and cut out yur real wheels so you only have spokes and fronts too you will get better acceleration.

First any 2 wheel drive is going to have more acceleration as there is less friction this is a no brainier. But on a track the 4 wheel drive will out handle it. Watch out as the Rush has a very weak middle gear in the transmission. All so do not add any aluminum A arms or shock towers as all this does is make it heaver.

Do not get me wrong as I have an original Rush and it is a great truck. The biggest thing with the Rush is to make sure you have your slipper set correctly and this will keep from messing up the middle gear. If all you want is more acceleration you can always put a lower gear on it but will decrease the top end.
What kills me many people put a more powerful engine in then load it down with aluminum parts and they gain nothing with the more powerful engine as the eat up the increases of power by adding so much weight. Not only that there are other drawbacks to aluminum. Been there done that and recreated it.
