I just got a jato 3.3 and love it. I was just wondering why it will only shift 2 second when the engine is warm?? Are the gears inside warming up or something?? Thanks

i think its because the engine have to be up to its normal operating tempeture the gears do not heat up but if the motors cold i dont think it gets the rpms needed to shift. The jato is very fast and it will take up so space to get to second ,i have yet to see my jato hit 2nd because of the limited space. im pretty sure theres a form around here that might explain it better. Or maybe you can get people in here that really KNOW what they are talking about lol

When your motor is cold it will run richer than when its hot which equates to less power , the tranny needs to hit a certain RPM before the shifting pawl will come out and engage second gear , when its running rich the motor will take longer to hit that RPM .....
