I am having a really bad RC day here. I guess i will start off with the Warhead problem. The throttle servo doesnt quite have the power to move the carb open. Its not the batterys because the are brand new and i checked them on my volt meter. The carb will open and close but the servo seems to stop at sertain spots.Say if i were to have it at half throttle then have it at full throttle it will only go to three quarters full, but if i have it a idle and pin it, she will go to full throttle.I live in Canada and i drive my truck in the snow and i think i ruined somthing. Is it just the servo that i need to replace or do i need to do more because the other servos work fine.
Now for the Evader problem. I recently got a Kwik Pit Super Start back plate for it and i decided to put it on by myself. I had to take the one way bearing out of the pull start and put it in the new back plate. It was all fine until i had everything together and the engine was locked up. So i took of the back plate and everything was fine then i put it back on and the engine was still locked up so i losened the screws on the back plate just a little and every thing was freenow so i decided that it was all good.
But the screws were barely in but that was the only way it would work. Now about a half an hour ago i started the engine and ran the truck up and down my road for about a half a tank.It worked good until all of the sudden it stalled which isnt all that weird with my OS. So i went to start it and i noticed that two screws were missing in the back plate.
Any of your imput is greaty appreciated!

You linkage sounds like its binding or the trottle arm on the carb is sticking.
The backplate screws backed out because they were loose and didn't have any blue thread lock on them.

with the evader its possible you either put the part that connects the crank to the pullstart mechanism back on it and you shouldnt have, or you need to grind the crank back a little.

Well, as for the Warhead problem i couldnt find anything wrong with anything other than the servo so i took it to my local hobby shop and they said it was just the servo so i bought a new servo. Long story short i spent 80 bucks instead of the 50 i was aloud to spend. You can never trust me to spend only so much money at a hobby shop.

i thought u said u took the linkage of the carb and it did the same thing. That to me sounds like your carb is sticking and just needs a clean out. U might not of needed a new servo after all

the worst thing you can do to one of these r/cs is to drive it in snow..i meansnow its water right...and most r/c manuals say somewhere NOT TO DRIVE IN WATER...it ruins the electronics...at least on my neST..it also rusted then batteries in my battery box...i dunno how it got in there but it does![:@]

ok then, but you cant really hurt anything if you are going in a straight line. And i am more likely to hurt anything in the mud i go through than the snow.

But its usually worth it, right? But it is sort of nice to have a little snow to clean off some dirt.

nitro cleaner cleans out your car and rids it of dirt and sand and of coarse, nitro, witch is what keeps the sand and dirt in there in the first place. its made out of mostly alcohal so it drys up really fast, witch is good for your servos and crap. its very helpful, and whould be for you if you drive in mud alot.

If your going to be driving around in mud you need to waterproof your servos. it sounds like you got your old one wet somehow and the electronics shorted. No servo is waterproof they say water resistant but that doesnt mean a hill of beans. Buy some balloons nd wrap the entire servo and stick the horn over the balloon onto the spline.
