Just getting into Nitro have a XXX-NT. Do you have a Fail Safe on your Ride? If so is one better than the other without having
to refiance my house to buy one. Thanks

Hey I would definitely recommend a failsafe, it will save you car in the case of low batteries, or radio interference, it's like insurance for your car. Definitely worth it.... I believe towerhobbies has a venom one for $24, and a duratrax one for $18, I have the venom one and it has worked perfect for the last several years

Having had a car run away from me, because I forgot to put the airel up on tx, I would recommend a fail safe to anyone who is going to use any rc kit near other people. I am running 1 on mu rush, only cost about £10 and does the trick great! Any loss of signal or interferance and it applies full brake, it's saved my car a few times!
Just waiting for my spektrum to arrive now for the MT2, which has built in fail safes.

a fail-safe is cheap insurance. It saves you from a runa-way if you dont have a failsafe installed and you have a uncontrollable runa-way car it will result in alot damage to your truck and to property. I am using a duratrax micro failsafe and it works wonders

I have a failsafe in my Warhead and it works great. It is worth the money to protect your investment. I have a Dynamite Race Gaurd and it is so small i can fit it in my reciver box.

I also have a throttle return spring on my nitro evader and I like it to but the fail safe can put the brakes on too.

Oh come on guys you don't need a fail safe, just turn on the cam corder and you wreck so much trying to show off it never gets far. But then again if you run alone it might be a good idea. Fail safe and return spring both a very good idea [:-] I don't leave home without them

this is one of the main reason i got the spektrum dx2.0. It has a fail safe built into the system. just set it when you bind the receiver to the transmitter. works great. ive tested it a couple times by running the car up to speed then just turning the transmitter off. not half a second later the brakes are put on and it came to a halt. wouldn't run a nitro rc with out a fail safe. whether its built into your radio or a seperate device.
