just a place to talk and discuss the new mt2 18ss plus. looks like a good car and i am starting to save for it.
for those who haven't seen http://hpiracing.com/index2.htm. tell me what you think. do u think it is going to be a big improvement, and better value then the original.

Id say not a very good difference, unless you don't plan on upgrading main parts like the tuned pipe and tires that will eventually wear out. Who knows the price difference?

its about 200 bucks difference for about 50 bucks of upgrades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!utter pointless u might aswell buy a 18ss and put in a new os cv-rx 18 then sell your 18ss engine from the 18ss

Woww 200 dollers!?! They would have been better off at least putting the big purple head and the chrome pipe. Even with those, it would not be $200 worth of upgrades...pretty much pointless

haha, wow, you guys thought that it was actually going to sell for the original listed retail value? tower almost always puts up the super high suggested retail price on their site until they get some real info on them. but anyway, i think it is a good deal now that the price has been fixed.
