Id say not a very good difference, unless you don't plan on upgrading main parts like the tuned pipe and tires that will eventually wear out. Who knows the price difference?

its about 200 bucks difference for about 50 bucks of upgrades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!utter pointless u might aswell buy a 18ss and put in a new os cv-rx 18 then sell your 18ss engine from the 18ss
dont bother with the new 18ss+
although i do like the body!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woww 200 dollers!?! They would have been better off at least putting the big purple head and the chrome pipe. Even with those, it would not be $200 worth of upgrades...pretty much pointless

lewis_lfc:

I concur - just get the 18SS and do you own upgrades. With the OS you will need the hardened diffs and the the other goodies, but the 18SS+ is a little pricey.

i am not sure were you are getting imfo but tower has them listed at the same price

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXJKT0&P=ML

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXRSJ8&P=ML

itis not that much of improvment but if they are the same price..

when i buy it i think, that i will sell the 18ss and buy a os .18 cvr.
but any idears were to sell the ss

haha, wow, you guys thought that it was actually going to sell for the original listed retail value? tower almost always puts up the super high suggested retail price on their site until they get some real info on them. but anyway, i think it is a good deal now that the price has been fixed.
