Default Nitro Rustler Transmission Help!!!

Here is whats up I just freakin got my Nitro Rustler from fedex today, broke the engine in, then was just drivin it around on my front lawn and then all of a sudden the tires just stoped spinning. So im like oh I must have just stripped the teeth on the slipper clutch thing. Everything looked alright on that so I was like oh crap so I took the transmission apart and it ended up being some small little gear that was in another gear.

So what should I do?
Should I send my car back to the shipper and get a new one?
Should I go up to my local Hobby Shop and see what they can do?

I would just replace the gear, it might just be a fluke...also the rustler is very powerful and that power puts a strain on the gears...also set your slipper a little bit looser...tighten all the way down , then about 1/4 turn off or so

Someone should do a writeup for proper Slipper Adjustment

Its in the manual, no need for a write up.

Adjust it from 1/4 to 1 full turn out.

I see it happen all the time to people. Just loosen the slipper and it shouldn't happen again. I wouldn't even bother going through Traxxas, the gears are only 6 bucks.
