I know I know ..... I shouldnt be asking this cause most of the time it ends in a flame war. I was just wondering what all is out there and which ones have some major weak points. I have only ever ran buggy and monster trucks when it comes to nitro so these stadium trucks look the same to me lol. From my electric racing experience though I have found I like the losi mf2 and associated ones. They seem to hold up the best. Is it the same when it comes to the nitro ones or no?
I havent been a huge traxxas fan though just because I wasnt impressed when I set up my friends rustler for him, then again it only had the pro.15, and their t-maxxs were a huge pile of wasted money for me(all four of them) How many people have the xtm stadium truck? They seem like a nice bang for the buck.

LOL the Rusty is a great ST but it is one of the hardest ST's to set up for a track that there is. On the high end there is the GT2 just as you suspected and on the low end (my choice) the XTM X-c..........you put lower metal arms and hubs on the back of that X-c, set it up with a good .12 and radio and chase them down..........as good as the best at a lot lower price
Did you by chance read the May issue of driver "I think" about the XTM 1/8 Truggy being the fastest out of the box there is right now
with the right upgrades that 4x4 Truggy is a racing dream on a big track. I don't sell anything i don't test and beat up. Out of the box the X-c isn't a super star but it takes very little to get it in that area with a few minor upgrades and setting it up right.....................There is more than one JATO 3.3 trying to beat my X-cell with big TZ
but it aint happening

yeah im kinda torn between the gt2 and the x-cel. I like getting something and making it that much better so the x-cel sounds like a good fun build project but just as long as its not a huge money pit. The gt2 and xxx-nt are close together but are quite a bit more for em. Thanks for the input, ill have to do some more reading and make my final decision a few weeks from now.
