I would think you just pack it well and have them put it with your luggage on the plane. Pro drivers fly all the time around the world racing and take their RC vehicle. Just cannot take fuel on an airplane. Did you call the airlines to see what they say? I have a friend that goes to collage near my hometown and is from South America and he takes his back and forth all the time.

I know there have been others on the forums in the service in Iraq running RC cars and trucks so I would think getting fuel would not be a real problem. I want to thank you and the people in the arm forces for doing what you do!!!!!!!!!! Our arm forces people are the backbone of the country! THANKS!

Hey Sapper...the Army is loosening up on their packing lists. You can bring a few items from home on the plane....check with your S-4 on what you can/cannot bring and see if they have any information on how you can ship it. If worse comes to worse, have a family member ship it to your FOB, i've seen it done before...

BTW...400th post...woot!

Yea, I talked with a guy on myspace that had a savage over there, he said he had to pay the civilian contractors to get him the fuel from Kuwait. I am not sure if that means no nitro in Iraq yet or not. But my LHS said they would try to figure out a way to get some fuel down there to me for free

Ohh and thanks for supporting us, We can't do it w/out support from home.

Man I am on my way back over in May. I run cheap chinese crap that I got off ebay a couple of years ago right now, but have the MRS talked into letting me spend a couple of bills without her getting to as well. RIGHT! Anyway, I was thinking about just stocking up on fuel 5-10 gallons and throwing it in with the motor pool guys POL. Case of beer to the motor sgt should cover it. What about all the jamming that goes on over there. Any word on the radios people are using? I Think that a spectrum or something similar might work since it jumps freqs?

Anyway, I am looking to see if there is glow in Iraq yet or not as well. Tried checking into electrics, ***!! That is crzy expensive. If I can't get glow over there, I am just going to spend the money on a gasoline 1/4 or 1/5 scale and see if I can find the local AM/PM to fill my jerry can once a week. Get some smokes and slurpee too. Should be plentry of Pakis to make slurpees by now.

I talked to a buddy of mine over there and he says that if you have a contractor that is coming or going, they can get it in Kuwait. Why doesn't affes stock it I wonder? Has anyone talked to their local AFFES branch manager to see if it can be special ordered?
