Default 3.3 Rusty

Hi can anyone help me here, my 2.5 in my Nitro Rustler just recently decided to die so i put a TRX3.3 and when I get up to about 60 the fron just's lifts off the ground. I tried taping some lead weights on the front but that did'nt work and then it flipped and scratched up my colling head

move your battery to the front, lower your body as low as it will go, and lower your car...

Chances are your slipper is a little tight, back it off a little and test it.. Then adjust what suit your preference.

I had the same problem so started converting to aluminum parts to add weight. The weight helped the handling, and helps keep the truck on the ground...

I've got some aluminum shocks is that not enough?

Shocks dont add to much weight. When I say I started converting to aluminum I converted everything, I have pretty much every aluminum hop-up available. If your just wanting to add weight in the front though try an aluminum front bulk head, and shock tower...

You also might want to try some aluminum a-arms. Fastlanemachines makes an extended set that widen the truck, these were the best upgrades I did, handling improved greatly... Here are some pics of my truck from the start of its life as a nitro sport to its current setup as an all aluminum rustler...

I've got over $1000 in her right now. This was done over time though. Bought it as a used nitro sport back in September. Just finished getting it to the way it is now last month... The extended a-arms will run you about $60 but there definitely worth it. Before putting them on the truck flipped way to easily, now i can turn at full speed, worst that might happen is she'll spin out...

The wheels are just some cheap imex ones that my LHS had. They do look good though. Tires are anacondas. Look great but they dont grip that well...

I do not know much about the nitro Rustler but my Jato 3.3 has the same problem. After about 55 mph or any speed past 30 mph the front end will pick up and I can never see how fast it realy goes. You said you tied lead weights if that does not work try using fishing weights small and weight allot come in many weights too. Anthor idea is to buy an extended wheelie bar ToweHobbies sells cheap full aluminum wheelie bars and are much longer then the Traxxas Bar. Last you tried aluminum that works but only to a degree switch chaises to a much heavier chiases this should hold it down or switch bodies, I was just runnning my Jato and I lost a body clip I only had 1 on in the front and now had zero, going about 30 mph (body came up not off but enough to trap air) the air forced the car up and made a backflip but landed flat. Buy a cheaper more bulky lexan body instead of the fancy Traxxas trimmed ones.
