What would you choose for racing, take all stadium trucks in concideration. Which one has the most hop ups, easiest to work on, parts availblity, etc. Let me have your opinions!

AE's old GT or GT2, or a Losi XXX-NT.

There's a reason why they always win. They're excellent trucks!

And just ignore anyone who says Traxxas Rustler... There's a guy on here that recommends it... IMHO, if you're looking for nitro STs for racing, any nitro ST from AE or Losi would be your best bet. The Mugen ST looks good, but its $$$

+1

Anything Losi or AE, if you want to be competitive.

Forget the rest of the ST's there is only two real ST's for racing and they are the RC10GT and RC10GT2, nothing else compares and if anyone thinks so just look at AE race proven record with both the RC10GT and RC10GT2. And thats when all other ST's will fade into the background for you. Thats not even mentioning there durable, reliable, parts avaibility, hopups and ease to work on that makes AE second to none in the ST category. Losi in the next closest in the ST category but still they are not that close to AE. Just look at there record on and off the track and you will soon be racing a GT yourself.

ad2 or gt2, have both, nothing else is close.my losi handles slightly better, its slightly heavier, and a little faster. if you can win with one, you can win with the other.

nothing else really is even close.

Jato 3.3
Lets see... name the reasons why that is the worse truck possible.

-3.3 motor is way too big, not to mention not even legal. You will spend your time doing doughnuts instead of making laps.
-Two speed system, not legal
-Suspension geometry, way off and not much room to adjust
-Oh and did I mention the 3.3 is way too much. Heck the 2.5 was too much for that truck anyway.

Oh and if you go back to some of the first few articles about the JATO in RC Car Action, the designer will tell you that they had no plans to race the truck. LoL. I personally find that kinda funny. They design this new ST as their flagship and wont even race it. Its a great bash truck, dont get me wrong. But as far as the track goes, unless you going to completely strip the truck and start over...

Until tonight, I would have said AD2. I have an AD1 and just started playing with nitro STs. I am learning fast, but saw a GT2 for the first time tonight. Granted, the driver was VERY good, but his GT2 was dialed in. It could turn like I could only wish my AD1 could turn. I almost let the owner of the GT2 drive my AD1 to see what he could do with it but my throttle servo crapped out and I didn't have a spare with me. I was blown away by the GT2. It may be my next purchase.

this summer it looked like it was gonna be a tough season with the gt2 out, everybody saying it was gonna handle the rough better...
I can out drive them in the rough and have more forward and side traction, I'm also racing against some very good seasoned drivers

I'll never give up my AD2
