Default gt2 pullstart

i just bought a team associated gt2 about a month ago. the pullstart is already shot. is anyone else having a problem with the gt2 pullstart

[&o]me and my friend went and bought new st and i got a 07 nitro rustler and he got a gt2 rs rtr and a month or a couple days more the pull start broke and he just went and got a starter box.[&o][&o]

thene again he didnt like his and just sold it on ebay[X(]and is geing into mini's racing

Out of 3 nitro kits including HPI and GT2, I never had any problem with pull-start but then, you shouldn't pull it all the way out. Just a few short & quick pulls would be enough.

Any engine with pull start will eventually break/snap... even more so if you are yanking it more than a foot.

I suggest that you invest in a starter box like the one above mention already.

Seconded, though I've yet to buy a starter box myself...

Pull your pull-starter apart and see if its fixable. I accidentally took mines apart, but its good knowledge since if it ever happens again, you can put it back together.
