havent tried starting because it wouldnt start before it sat for few years, there has probably been fuel sitting in the engine too. i took off the fuel tank and emptied that out so far. before i start taking it apart, wont i need new gaskets when it goes back together?

LOL, I got my brothers Thundertiger TS4N that has been sitting there for aboutr 4 years, as I got it, I stripped it into pieces, then I stripped the engine into pieces and soaked it in Thinner (used for removing paint, more of an alcohol), then I sealed it and put it back together.. Runs like a charm now!

does the car roll easy? does the electronics work?
I recommend taking the gearbox apart and check everything. it would be smart to take the engine apart to(check the clutch to). and check all screws before driving

make sure nothin is rusted inside the engine. check the bearings make sure they arent shot. check all the driveline components to make sure they are clean and nothin is in the gears. make sure you hav a new glow plug on hand incase you need to replace the one you have. if engine still wont fire you may need a new 1

started taking apart, the ball head that attached to the carb which opens and closes the carb wont turn, is there a way to loosen this up? also got the pullstart and pullstart plate off, everything looks good so far, but i cant get the head off, i got 2 screws off but the other to are really tight and afraid of stripping out the screw heads, and good way to get the head off?
