Default mt2 vs firestorm

I have a savage x and I put it 2 wheel drive some time and I had a lot of fun but it's hard on the drive train

so I'm looking to buy a stadium truck the MT2 G3.0 or the Firestorm and my question is if I like the 4wd and the 2wd should I buy the MT2 G3.0 and use it on 4 wd and some time on 2wd ???

and if some body tried the MT2 on 2wd is it as fun as the fierstorm and as fast or the extra height make a big difference ???

and a ohter question wath is the difference between the T3.0 and the G3.0 ???

thank

Default RE: mt2 vs firestorm

I have an old Savage and do not have a problem with the drive train. Most of it is still what it came with over 8 gallons ago. I did set it up and make changes for racing but the drive train is pretty much stock! Yes the Fire Storm will be faster then the MT do to weight and being 4-wheel drive but the MT will out handle it do to being 4 wheel drive. I all so do not recommend the RTR as it has very weak differentials and the SS kit is MUCH better with many up grades the RTR does not have but should!!!!!!!!!
Did you look on HPI web site to see what the difference between the two engines is?
