Default OS .18 + new header=?

I have a Nitro Rustler(pro.15 version) and am about to put in an OS .18 CV-R into it. I know there will be some modifications done, which i got all sorted out. I will be getting a new tuned pipe and header(not sure which yet). My question is will the header clear the big recoil? I am going with a side exhaust so that is why i am asking. Or i shouldn't be worrying about the header clearing the recoil? I just don't want to get a pipe and header and find out that it doesn't fit because the big recoil doesn't allow it to.

I would go back with the rear exhaust like what came with it.............never seen a side exhaust put on it (Rusty) [&o] but there are so many exhaust systems there will be something out there that will work

The old rustler(pro.15) originally had the side exhaust which is why i am keeping side exhaust. I just took it off and put on a MIP 360 stinger. Now i want a new exhaust and convert back to it being on the side no like the stinger.
