If the engine starts fine when it is cold and then when it heats up it stalls and dose not turn back on until it is cool again. You have vapor lock cause by running your engine to lean. The Engine gets so hot that it boils the fuel in the line before it hits the carb not allowing it to run. Try resetting needle settings back to factory. If same problem presists then you need a new piston sleeve or you could get the piston/sleeve pinched for only 20 dollars and engine will run like new. heres a link to someone who will pinch it http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll..._promot_widget
I have personally used them and it works good.

When it cuts off what is the temperature? How old is the engine? I yet have found I need a fancy big cooling head and where I live I run in 100 degree plus weather.

RE: trouble starting once warm
Hi,engine only had about a gallon and half through it,not sure temp, but able to touch head for a few seconds before havin to pull away.adjusted carb to manufacturers guidelines, but thought i was running slightly richer than recommended whilst bashing(no need for top performance)
