Default New Engine (But theres a problem of course)

Of course theres a problem its me ! I got my new engine today ... all looking good ... until i look at the carb ... Its a slide carb and i use a rotary one ... stupid twats at my lhs now i gotta wait another week to get a new carb body as my old one is crushed [][][][][][][][][]

Yeah this is a nitro star g3.0 with HB Tag on it ... it was £20 cheaper :P My LHS Is DMS Racing but i got the engine from modelsport UK

Is there anyway to configure my servo's to work with this slide carb ?

Should have paid the 20 pounds more as you would be putting a engine in now and not spending more money. Yes there is a way to make it work but for you not sure how easy it will be. Did you check to see if they make a kit for slide cars on a Firestorm? I know they make one for a HPI MT.

No offence but with his truck no tell! After looking at the Firestorm on HPI web site does not look like it will be easy to use a slide carb.

Ah well was only £10 for another carb and i should and i WILL [&:] be up and running next week ... with pics and vids to post here ...

i guess you have to use the rotary carb
