RE: which motor?
You changed the question........lol
none of the small .12 engines will have as much torque as the .18 but the difference in the R's from the small engine with the right porting can make them faster at some things.[X(]
Your question is loaded from the get go, there is no real direct answer without an application for the engine[&:]
Power is fun but not always better[&o]
No body knows how you drive or what your driving in so there is no answer to your question[:'(]
Buy all the different engines that work in your truck and see which one works for you

RE: which motor?
The OS 18 TZ has as much HP as some big blocks. I run one and is crazy fast and you better have VERY good drive train or you will tear something up!!!!!!!!!! Read this review.

RE: which motor?
I have a .18 cvr in my nitro sport and my neighbor just got his s maxx 2.5 and I kill it. Also my motor is about a year old running pretty big tires. The only thing is you will break stuff all the time I just have spare parts for quick fixes. My next motor will be a tz but I will put it in something like a t maxx or jato.

RE: which motor?
Well I have a jato wheelie bar on the sport and it stays on it for about 50 ft. If I was to buy again hands down os just the best engine hold tune and easy to start. Well for fit not sure but it dont fit in the nitro sport without a dremel and a little time. If you really want speed get the tz.

RE: which motor?
i run 3 of the os .18 cvrx's, in my tmaxx, rs4 mt, rs4 3 evo and i love them, plenty of power, its pretty much a direct fit for a side exhaust engine, i am running the older tmaxx that came with the pro .15, i am not too sure what you want to put it in, i think the nitro sport so you should have no problem, if you get the tz like some people reccomended, you will need to buy at least a new manifold and i am not too sure if the tz would be a direct fit.
