why do people get extended a-arms for the nitro rustler, what do they actualy give?

Another way is to use off set wheels but the problem with making it wider is you turning radius gets bigger the wider you get. I use to have off set wheels on my Savage but when I went to the LCG chassis I took them of and it turns so much tighter.
