Hey guys, looking to start racing but I was wondering do you guys think now is a poor time to start? I am referring to car kits. Example; Losi has been replacing/updating their cars recently. I do not want to go out and by the time I finish building AD2 kit, a new one comes out. Is there mention of a new 10th scale st coming from Losi?

I know AE just recently put their new ST out so parts would be real easy for that.

Any insight?

now is a good time to get kits. If you wait till october or early november would be better, as many places wil have an end of the season sale.

I was going to upgrade my GT2 for racing, but decided to wait until late September for cheaper prices.

I doubt that Losi will work on the AD2, its the least popular class of racing and they are focused on 8th scale nitro. Plus, like all of there XXX kits parts will be interchangable IF they decide to update the AD2.

Hmm. I am real close to buying an Adam Drake 1, is it true that I can convert it to an AD2?

I hear the AD1 handles WAY better than the AD2. If you buy an AD2 then get Robbers setup.

I am only interested in changing a few things, quick change axles and stuff. I think I might try and get it. Seems like a good nitro starter, much better then a Redcat IMO.
