can anyone tell me if this rustler is worth 150 dollars.

he lives about 50 miles from me and im thinking abut picking it up. please let me know asap at least by the end of today. thanks

or should i buy the XTM X-Cellerator

im trying to stay within a budget but have a nice stadium truck that has many upgrades and is pretty durable

I would say yea because even if the engine is no good its just a little over a hundred to upgrade to the 2.5R and he has new tires for the back that are gone. Without hands on it looks OK

Get the X-cell.........its the best out there for the price

is the 2.5r the only engine that this thing can handle? or can i drop others into it.

You can buy the kit and put the 3.3 in it or the big block kit if you want to go that way.............but the Rustler ST with a 2.5R is more than enough

i didnt realise there was a huge thread on this thing so if you want delete this. anyways id like to hear from a couple of others if this is worth it.

That looks like a good deal to me. I got a rusty and it is one tough truck if i were you I would put the 2.5R in the rusty. If you want to put in the TRX3.3 rather just save up for a JATO.

I have the Traxxas Sport (same as Rusty just different engine and name) and the XC. The Traxxas isn't even in the ballpark compared to the XC. My XC was so much better when it was nitro.
